ColaBox L2 Plus
What’s in the box

Your ColaBox L2 Plus package should include the media player, remote control, HDMI cable, power adapter, user guide and protective packaging. Keep the original packaging for safe transport and for any eligible return, and read our Refund Policy before sending anything back.

Device overview and ports
  • Front panel: an infrared window for the remote and a status display window.
  • Rear panel: HDMI output, USB ports, a LAN (Ethernet) port, AV out, optical audio out, a TF card slot and the DC power input.

If your TV shows no signal, make sure the HDMI cable is fully pushed in and the TV is set to the matching HDMI input.

First-time setup
  1. Connect HDMI and power. Plug the HDMI cable into your TV, monitor or projector, connect the power adapter and turn the screen on.
  2. Choose your language and region. This helps apps and menus display correctly.
  3. Connect to the internet. Use Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Ethernet gives the most stable playback.

Please do not unplug the power during first setup or while an update is installing.

Remote control basics
  • Power: turns the device or screen on and off (standby) where supported.
  • Directional ring: moves through menus, app rows and settings.
  • OK / Select: opens the highlighted item or confirms a setting.
  • Back: returns to the previous screen.
  • Home: returns to the home screen.
  • Volume: adjusts sound on supported displays or apps.

If the remote does not respond, replace the batteries, move closer to the box and follow any pairing prompt that appears on screen.

Wi-Fi and Ethernet
  • Wi-Fi: open the network settings, pick your network, enter the password and wait for the connected status.
  • Ethernet: connect a network cable from your router to the LAN port. A wired connection is the best choice for stable 4K playback.
  • Buffering: restart your router, move the box closer to the Wi-Fi source or switch to Ethernet.
Installing and managing apps

The device runs Android 14 and supports compatible Android apps. Install apps only from trusted, legitimate sources, keep the ones you use most at the front of the home screen, and remove the ones you no longer need. If an app freezes, restart the device.

Display settings
  • Match the resolution to your TV or projector.
  • If the edges of the picture are cut off, adjust the screen fit or overscan setting.
  • Turn on HDR only if your display supports it.
  • Use a high-quality HDMI cable for 4K.
Audio settings

Go to Settings, then Display & Sound or Audio, depending on your menu.

  • Use HDMI audio for normal TV sound.
  • Use the optical output for a receiver or soundbar.
  • Make sure the output mode matches the device you connected.
  • If there is no sound, check mute and volume.
  • Restart the app after changing the output if needed.
  • If the audio is out of sync, look for an audio sync setting on your TV, receiver or soundbar.
Storage and memory

Internal storage is shared by apps, cache, downloads and system data. To speed things up, clear the cache of slow apps, delete unused apps and downloads, restart after heavy use and keep some free space. A factory reset erases local data and app settings, so back up your app logins first.

Troubleshooting
  • No signal on the TV: check that the power adapter is connected, the HDMI cable is firmly seated and the TV input matches the port you used.
  • Remote not responding: replace the batteries, move closer and see whether it needs pairing again.
  • Wi-Fi keeps dropping: restart your router, use the 5 GHz network when you are near the router, or switch to Ethernet.
  • An app crashes or freezes: close it, clear its cache, restart the device or reinstall it from a trusted source.
  • 4K is not playing in 4K: make sure your TV supports 4K, use a compatible HDMI cable, choose a 4K display setting and check that your internet speed is fast enough.
  • Factory reset: use it only when basic troubleshooting does not work. It removes your local settings and returns the device to its starting state.

ColaStick V1 Plus
What’s in the box

Your ColaStick V1 Plus package should include the stick, a Bluetooth voice remote, an HDMI extension cable, a USB-C power cable, a power adapter and a quick start guide. The extension cable and adapter help with tight HDMI ports and hotel TVs.

Device overview and installation

The ColaStick is a compact HDMI streaming stick that plugs into a TV, projector or PC monitor. It can take power from your TV’s USB port or from the included adapter. There are three ways to install it:

  • Direct HDMI plug-in: connect it straight to an open HDMI port.
  • HDMI extension cable: use the cable if the port is tight, blocked or close to the wall.
  • Projector or travel setup: connect it to a projector or hotel TV and power it with the included adapter. If the TV’s USB port does not supply enough power, use the adapter.
First boot and setup

Select the matching HDMI input on your TV, then choose your language and region. Connect to Wi-Fi and wait for the home screen. Finally, check that the remote can move, select, go back and go home. Keep your Wi-Fi password handy.

Remote control guide
  • Power: turns the screen on and off (standby) where supported.
  • Directional ring: moves through menus, apps and settings.
  • OK / Select: opens the highlighted item or confirms a setting.
  • Back: returns to the previous screen.
  • Home: returns to the home screen.
  • Voice: voice search where supported.
Network and Wi-Fi

Open the network settings, choose your home network, enter the password and wait for the connected status. Use the 5 GHz network when the router is close to the stick, and 2.4 GHz when it is farther away. If the connection keeps dropping, restart your router and the stick.

Installing and managing apps

Install compatible Android apps only from trusted sources. Arrange your home screen around the apps you use most and remove the ones you no longer need. If an app is slow, restart it or clear its cache.

Bluetooth headphones and accessories

To pair headphones, speakers, keyboards or a remote, put the accessory into pairing mode. Then open the Bluetooth settings on the stick, select the accessory’s name and confirm.

Display and audio settings

Choose a resolution that your TV or projector supports. If the picture is cropped, adjust the screen fit or overscan setting. Use HDMI audio for normal TV sound, and restart the app if the audio does not update after you change a setting.

Storage and memory

Internal storage is shared by apps, cache, downloads and system data. Clear the cache when apps slow down, remove unused apps and restart after heavy use or long playback sessions. Avoid filling the storage completely.

Troubleshooting
  • No signal: check the HDMI input on your TV, then reseat the stick or the extension cable.
  • Restarts or freezes: use the included power adapter instead of a low-power TV USB port.
  • Remote not responding: replace the batteries, move closer and follow the pairing prompt.
  • Unstable Wi-Fi: move closer to the router, switch bands, restart the router or reduce nearby interference.
  • An app will not open: close it, clear its cache, restart the stick or reinstall it from a trusted source.
