Questions and answers
Does Colabox include channels or subscriptions?
No. Colabox is a device only, with no monthly fee for the hardware. You install the apps you want and sign in with your own accounts. Subscriptions are set and billed by each app or service.
Which apps can I install?
Colabox runs Android 14, so you can install streaming apps from the app store. Availability depends on your region and on each provider. See our Channels page for examples.
How do I set it up?
Plug it into your TV's HDMI port and power, connect to Wi-Fi (or Ethernet on the Colabox L2 Plus), then install your apps and sign in.
What internet speed do I need?
We recommend at least 25 Mbps for smooth 4K streaming. Slower connections can still stream at lower quality.
What is the difference between the L2 Plus and the V1 Plus?
The Colabox L2 Plus is a full box with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and an Ethernet port. The Colastick V1 Plus is a small stick that plugs straight into HDMI, with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. Both run Android 14 and play 4K HDR10+.
Can the Whole-Home Bundle cover two TVs?
Yes. Use the Colabox L2 Plus on your main TV and the Colastick V1 Plus on a second TV, in one order.
